The crew of the Enterprise think they are in a noir but they ain't. Join your lugubrious hosts as they discuss missed opportunities and the confusing amalgamation of varied and largely incompatible traditional plot structures, production design elements, and writing choices. We also discuss unclear themes and messages, and even manage to remember to examine that strange B-plot! Additionally, we catch up on a few "doody or no doodies" and experience another thrilling game of "Where There Hell Have I Heard That Before?" (aka WTHHIHTB). Give this ep an attentive listen today!
Spoiler warning! We dive right into a detail-rich discussion of this episode of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, so if you haven’t had a chance to see it yet – beware!
Next week: We continue our weekly coverage of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds' fourth season with our discussion of "Level-Five Transporter Accident"
Note that this and all episodes of the It’s Got Star Trek podcast contain explicit language and, frankly, an unnecessary amount of offensive content, so the show is intended only for adults and really really cool kids.
