#357 - "Once La'An a Time" SNW S4E09

La'An resolves her internal conflict with a little help from her imaginary friends. Join your fae hosts as they discuss an episode that leverages fairytale tropes and D&D logic to produce a richly produced, beautifully acted, and deliciously fun story of character growth and tomfoolery. We also discuss in the ins-and-outs of "Doody Or No Doody", lament the fact that, for the first time, no one submitted any guesses for WTHHIHTB, and complain a little bit about Pelia's swift and largely unremarked-upon departure. Also, Dan scolds Jesse for talking over his clips, and Patrick retreats into an Ed Sheeran-like position of cowardice poorly masked by humor. Mostly though we have a blast discussing this fun episode of Strange New Worlds - like, a dragon attacks the Enterprise!! It's as if a Lower Decks plot come to life!

Spoiler warning! We dive right into a detail-rich discussion of this episode of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, so if you haven’t had a chance to see it yet – beware!

Next week: We conclude our weekly coverage of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds' fourth season with our discussion of "Tomorrow's Enterprise"

Note that this and all episodes of the It’s Got Star Trek podcast contain explicit language and, frankly, an unnecessary amount of offensive content, so the show is intended only for adults and really really cool kids.
